  • General Info

  • CleanBnB: General Rules to stay in the Apartment.

    • Pets are not allowed;
    • Extra guests are not allowed, you must always tell your host if addional guests are staying in the apartment;
    • Smoking is not allowed;
    • Please respect the SILENCE times: from 1:00pm until 3:00pm and from 11:00pm until 8:00am loud noises are not allowed in order to respect the neighborhood;
    • Parties are not allowed;
    • Any DAMAGE to furniture and objects in the apartment found at the check-out (not present at the check-in) will be charged or deducted from the security deposit;
    • HOUSEHOLD LINEN (Towe/s and Sheets):
      • In the stay is included only 1 set of linens (towels+sheets) per guest
      • Each EXTRA set of linens used has a cost of 15,00€/each which will be deducted at the check-out
    • CHECK-OUT:
      • The day before your departure write to your host the time you will leave the apartment: the time limit for the check-out (also with the luggage) is 10:00am;
      • If there isn’t any reservation for the same day and you need it, you are allowed to use the apartment over 10.00am paying a NIGHT MORE;
  • Wi-Fi

  • Internet connection is active 24/7. You can find the password or the QRcode in the apartment to access in.

    • Net name is HOME-SRV-GUEST,
    • In kitchen you can find the frame  with the password or QRcode for direct access using the camera of your mobile device.
  • Power Line - Water - Gas

  • Power Line

    On the off chance that the Master power line switch off:

      1. Verify the electrical panel in Kitchen and verify if all switch are up. If not, up them.
      2. Check if the light is on in the stairs
      3. If the switch off is caused by a excess of electrical power, you need to switch up the general electric panel.

    The general electric panel is in the basement corridor. You find it going down the stairs to the ground floor. There you can open the internal door and you’ll find the general panel in an brown closet on the right of the corridor. Take the key at the top right and find the panel “SERVADEI“. If it’s switched down, put it up to restore the power line.

    At the end, close the closet and put up the key in his place, please.

    Water

    The kitchen and bathroom water is always on. In case of failure or problems, you find the master tap is in the bathroom. Close it rotating clockwise.

     

    Gas

    The master tap is at entrance of the apartment on the left. Close it only in In case of danger, rotating clockwise.

  • Separate collection of waste

  • compactors for differentiated waste collection
    municipality of Bologna.

    Final cleaning are included in the rate. However, before leaving, we ask you to throw the waste in the bins located in about 50 meters from the apartment.

    In particular the Bologna Municipality ask to all citizens and guest to recycle the wast as follow:

    Paper and Cardboard
    Light Blue box

    Newspapers, notebooks, wrapping paper, cardboard, cardboard boxes, tetrapak type polylaminates, paper trays, pizza boxes if clean.

    Plastic
    Yellow Box

    All plastic packaging (e.g. disposable bottles, cups and plates without food residues. polystyrene, bags and crates).

    Glass and Cans
    Green Box

    All glass containers (e.g. bottles, jars and glasses), steel or aluminium (e.g. cans, crown caps, foil, empty spray cans).

    Organic
    Brown Box

    IMPORTANT: To Open it you need the green key that you’ll find in the apartment.

    Food waste (e.q. small bones, shells, food beyond expiry date, tea bags, paper towels) and plant waste (e.g. flowers and small pruning material).

    Undifferentiated waste
    Grey Box

    Insert small waste that you can recycle in the other waste box.

    In the apartment you have the card “la carta smeraldo” that you can use to open the grey bin for not recycled waste.

    How it works

    1. Place the Carta Smeraldo against the reader, the drawer will open automatically.

    2. Insert the well-closed mixed waste bag and make sure that it enters correctly, to avoid the risk of blocking the drawer.
    3. Close the drawer by pressing the pedal.
  • USB Recharge/Plug Adaptator
    • In the apartment you have 4 electrical socket with USB-A and USB-C plug to charge your electronic devices.
    • You’ll find them at the sides of the 2 beds

    • There is also and World to Italy adaptor to plug your electrical device with a different plug (e.g. electric shaver, etc.)

    Attention: in Italy the voltage of the electrical current is 230V/60Hz.

  • Winter heating

  • Radiator Heating

    • The apartment has an automatic boiler to heat the ambients and it is optimized to maintain comfort during the day and night.
    • The heating is set to have a good envairoment confort and temperature and it is on during hours and days allowed by Municipe and National rules. 
    • Actual laws (Decreto Ministeriale n. 383 del 6/10/2022) impose a temperature in home of 19 °C (66 °F) with a maximum tolerance of 2 °C (~4 °F).
    • We decided to set the temperatures between 19°C and 20°C to give a good confort when heating is active. 

     

    How it Works

    The Thermostat display 2 temperatures:

    • UP display: heating temperature.
    • DOWN display: ambient temperature.

    If heating temperature is higher of ambient, the boiler is on and radiator are on.

    If heating temperature is lower of ambient, the boiler is means only that radiators are off: to check the ambient temperature, see always the down temperature in the display.

    Automatic control

    The heating is set on 2 temperatures, comfort and ECO.  The system is optimized to offer you comfort at your wake up, at lunch time and from late afternoon to dinner. In the night it’s off for your healthy (to leave a better ambient humidity and to avoid an hottest ambient).

    Manual Control

    If you want to give a “boost” to your heating you can increase the temperature for about 1 hour.

    In this situation we suggest to bring the upper temperature to max 20.5°C (not more not to exceed national and not risk with municipal controls).

    To active the manual control, push on the topside of thermostat to increase the temperature or in the lower side to decrease until the temperature reaches max 20.5°C.

  • Summer Air Conditioning

  • In the hot season you can use also the air conditioning to refresh the ambient. You’ll have a remote to manage it if you stay from May to October.

    In the cold seasons you can heat the room with the heaters using the boiler and its automatic thermostat.

    It is suggested that a maximum of 2 splits be used at the same time, avoiding the use of the oven or dishwasher to avoid power disconnections.


    Should the meter disconnect due to overload, you can restore power by reactivating the meter located in the closet in the garden walkway (find info in the Light-Water-Gas section). Meter with name “SERVADEI”.
